With TEFL International's well established and long-running Special Projects, you can immerse
yourself in the culture of your chosen country whilst working your way towards a TEFL International TESOL Certificate. All for $500!
Guilin in Southern China
You will finish your internationally-recognized TESOL Certificate, or Diploma, in Shenzhen for eight days. After, for a six-month period, you will be placed in one of ten major cities in the South China provinces of Guangdong, Shenzhen, Fujian, or Jiangsu (near Shanghai), or in the capital of Beijing. Your students are adults attending university or working professionally.
You are guaranteed:
A 6 month paid teaching placement at a professional school, equipped with a coffee bar, computers with internet access, spacious and comfortable classrooms, theatre room, libraries and other various facilities and resources (course books, pool table, piano, etc).
A monthly salary of between 8,500 and 12,500 Chinese RMB (US $ 1,300 - $1,950), depending on your placement location.
Accommodation is either provided or an allowance provided (included in salary above).
Flight Reimbursement of minimal 3,000 RMB (US $), more if you decide to stay after the 6-month period.
Chinese employment visa arranged and paid for.
An internationally-recognized TEFL International TESOL Certificate (or Diploma), valued at US $1,390.
The course includes an online video portion which you may finish at your leisure during your six month placement duration. There will also be seven days of in class practice at our training center in Shezhen.
Placement teaching centers on the TEFL International Special Chinese Program
There is a US $500 course administration fee for this program. This fee covers your: course materials; double room occupancy while under-taking the seven days of onsite training; arrival pick-up; online tutor assistance; on-going support by our admin and academic staff.
To qualify for this outstanding, and very popular program, you need to have:
a 4-year university degree, in anything,
be a native English speaker; that means a passport-holding citizen of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
Be born after 1965.
